Yamaha India Motor has announced the launch of the new YZF-R15 V4.0 in our market. The motorcycle is now available in two variants – Standard and M. Both variants feature an identical design and hardware, although the M variant further benefits from Bluetooth-connectivity as standard. inspect the entire list (ex-showroom Delhi) below:
YZF-R15 Metallic Red: Rs 1,67,800
YZF-R15 Dark Knight: Rs 1,68,800
YZF-R15 Racing Blue: Rs 1,72,800
YZF-R15 M: Rs 1,77,800
The revised design comprises an updated front fascia that now features a bi-functional LED headlight rather than the twin-pod headlamp on the outgoing version. Other styling cues include a full-fairing, an M air-duct design, step-up seat, and side-slung exhaust. Both motorcycles will use a digital instrument cluster although, as mentioned above, the M variant will feature Bluetooth connectivity.
The mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that now makes 18.1bhp as against 18.3bhp on the outgoing model. The hardware on the motorcycles include upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, single discs on both wheels, and a dual-channel ABS.
The new model also benefits from a traction system as standard. the fast shifter is out there as standard on the R15 M and Racing Blue colour. The motorcycle are going to be available in four colours – Metallic Grey, Racing Blue, Dark Knight, and Metallic Red. the corporate also will offer a limited-edition MotoGP variant of the YZF-R15 M.
